FAQ
Yes, TechStack is the foundation of what will become DataFlex 2027. The Technology Preview gives you early access to the next generation of DataFlex while it is still actively being developed.
During this Technology Preview phase, we use the name TechStack rather than DataFlex 2027. This helps make clear that you are working with an early development version that is not yet part of the official DataFlex release cycle.
Once DataFlex 2027 enters the Alpha stage, TechStack will become part of the regular DataFlex pre-release cycle and will continue under the DataFlex 2027 name.
The current generation runtime through the Windows toolchain remains available and continues to be an integral part of the DataFlex platform.
