What’s New in DataFlex Reports 25.1

The highlight of this release is the brand-new feature Lines and Boxes Across Sections. With this, you can draw lines or boxes that span multiple report sections. For example, from the page header all the way through to the footer. This gives you:

• More layout control – go beyond single sections and design the way you want.
• Cleaner design – visually group elements for improved readability and structure.
• A professional look – frame entire areas of your report with polished boxes and lines.

We’ve also added another enhancement: boxes and lines can now automatically stretch to the end of a section, saving you time and ensuring pixel-perfect alignment.

Together, these features give you more flexibility and control in creating reports that look great and communicate clearly.

Improvements and Fixes

On top of these features, DataFlex Reports 25.1 includes a number of fixes and improvements to make your experience smoother and more reliable. Some highlights:

• No more crashes when setting a Username without a password when exporting to PDF.
• Images in subreports now display correctly in PDF exports.
• Fixed clipping issues when exporting reports to HTML.
• Chart previews now appear right when you open the designer.
