What’s New in this RC release?

Since the Beta, we’ve added one more enhancement. You can now automatically stretch the bottom of a box or line to the end of the section. This makes it easier to create clean, consistent report layouts without manually aligning every element.

Together with the Beta features (including Lines and Boxes Across Sections) this gives you even more flexibility and control in designing professional, polished reports.

What’s New in DataFlex Reports 25.1

DataFlex Reports 25.1 comes with an exciting new feature: Lines and Boxes Across Sections. This new feature allows you to draw lines or boxes that span multiple report sections. For example, from the page header to the details or footer. This gives you:

• More layout control - you’re no longer limited to drawing within a single section.
• Cleaner design - you can visually group elements across sections for better structure and readability.
• Professional look - boxes and lines can now frame entire areas of the report, not just isolated parts.

It’s especially useful when building reports that need a consistent visual structure across pages or that include grouped data blocks.

DataFlex 25.1 also comes with numerous improvements and bug fixes, main ones include:

• Setting a Username without setting a password when exporting a report to PDF no longer causes a crash.
• Images in subreports are now shown correctly when exporting a report to PDF.
• Fixed issue with incorrect clipping of objects when exporting a report to HTML.
• Chart preview now appears when you first open the designer.
